Aductions: Now in Malaysia!

Aductions has been in the news recently. Besides having Adoi Magazine to profile their advertising platform, they are also adding some new servers to their existing infrastructure. These servers will be located in Cyberjaya Malaysia and they will cater to all of our publishers and advertisers in the Southeast Asia region.

And now they allow Malaysians to receive payments in Malaysian Ringgit. This is good news as the Malaysian Ringgit getting stronger against US$ Dollar.

Back to Aductions. Their base system is plain simple:

1) Publishers set their inventory
2) Advertisers buys the inventory off the publisher
3) Publisher pay a small cut and gets the funds immediately or upon completion.

So how does it really look or work?

As usual, you will have sign up to their service, and choose the Ads size, layout and so on..

Then here comes the specialty. Unlike other advertising network, you can choose type pf payment, or advertising model. You can choose any of the below format to get paid:

1) CPM (cost per 1000 impressions),
2) CPC (Cost Per Click),
3) CPV (Cost per hundred unique visits) or
4) CPD (cost per day)

If you find your visitors are "click-shy", choose the CPM method so that you wouldn't be displaying ads for no earnings. You choose the model that benefit you the most depending on your site or blog. This option is especially good compared to other network, where they wouldn't let you choose.

Payment is also remarkably quicker. Publishers can now get paid as soon as the ads are served and also withdraw their earnings immediately. No more waiting for 30 or sometimes 60 days after an ad has been delivered to your ad space before the funds are transferred or a check mailed to you. Simply put, once an ad has been delivered on your ad space, you can withdraw the funds for that ad.

Display Ads: Google Adsense

If you do not already know that displaying ads on your blog can earn you money, then you should take note! Yes! You really can earn money by displaying ads on your blog. If you don't put ads on it, most free blog provider will put ads for their own income, except for Blogger and a few other provider. Have you notice this on your blog?



So, if you are new to ads on blog, the 1st ads provider you should enroll is the Google Adsense, simply to return the favour for providing you a free blog (Blogger is owned by Google), and also to earn money. The profit can be lucrative depending on many factors, but for a start, you should register for it 1st. Simply by clicking on the "Add a page element" and then click on "Adsense", it can lead you to register for Adsense.






After registering, you choose which type of ads you want to display on your blog. There are Adsense For Search, Adsense For Content and Referral. Setup for all if possible, but much will depend on how you want your blog to look like. Also, you can decide how your ads format to look like, and also customize the colour. Next, when come to channel, most newbies will be confused(including me) as to what is this channel thing is about.
